I am a UKCP Psychotherapist in Training offering low cost Psychotherapy and Counselling. I provide a safe and confidential place to explore what is arising in you, giving you the opportunity to feel, express and process, and find your way forward.
Having worked in supportive and therapeutic services as a Support Worker, Group Worker and Team Leader for over a decade, I have much experience working with people in times of difficulty creating an environment to be heard and to heal. I am now working towards my Masters in Psychotherapy, a five year intensive process.
People come to therapy for many reasons; maybe life feels overwhelming and there are urgent issues you need to address, or perhaps your emotional world is hard and your mental wellbeing is suffering, maybe you are struggling to move on from past traumas or losses. Whatever your circumstances together we can explore what is arising in you, giving you the opportunity to feel, express and process, and find your way forward. I can work with you over a short, medium or long term, whatever suits your circumstances.
My approach is Integrative, this means I draw on different approaches to Psychotherapy to inform how I work with you. In practice, I see the relationship we build central to the work and I come from a place of respect and non-judgement. I also believe that we are moulded by our past experiences and I will work with you to gain greater awareness of how this affects your life now, with more awareness comes more opportunity for change.
