Pippa Taylor
‘I am an Integrative Counsellor working with individuals, both short and long-term, to explore a wide range of issues. I offer a safe and empathic space in which you can express yourself freely.
I am a BACP accredited Integrative Counsellor based in Gloucestershire. I have over 12 years’ experience working with adults, both at Gloucestershire Counselling Service and in private practice.
Before this I worked for the NHS on inpatient psychiatric units in Bristol. I believe that counselling can help us to develop new insights and build greater compassion for ourselves.
I draw on person-centred and psychodynamic approaches in order to provide the right support for you. I offer a warm, confidential, non-judgmental space in which you can explore any issues you wish to bring.
I work with individuals to explore a wide range of issues including, but not limited to: anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, abuse, trauma, work related issues and low self-esteem.
I also offer Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET) which is a trauma-focused short-term psychotherapeutic intervention. It is suitable for individuals who have experienced multiple and complex trauma, and who may have PTSD.
I am happy to offer a free initial phone consultation to discuss your hopes for counselling or NET, and to answer any questions. Do send me an email if you would like to arrange this.
I am currently able to offer in-person counselling and remote sessions (by video call).
