Chanah Hall

I offer bespoke massage therapy and reflexology to help restore balance, aid injury recovery and instil a deep sense of relaxation.

About me

I am a highly experienced body worker. I gained my first diploma in holistic massage in 1997 and continued with training to achieve three additional diplomas in Anatomy & Physiology, Reflexology and Aromatherapy in 2002. Since then, whilst in the USA I continued to increase my knowledge with further training, including Fascial (connective tissue) release and trigger point therapy.

I have worked for a Chiropractor and a Physiotherapy centre as well as privately over the last 20 years.

What I offer

All treatments are bespoke, supporting your specific needs and preferences.

With my anatomical knowledge, understanding of the energetics of the body and interconnection between body and emotions, I can give a single-modality session (e.g. Swedish massage) or mix various modalities to support your body-mind-spirit to find balance. These include: Swedish, Aromatherapy, Deep Tissue, Trigger Points, Reflexology and Connective Tissue (fascia) Release.

Through remedial techniques (British, American and Italian in origin) I can help with injury recovery or chronic muscular pain. I specialise in back, neck, shoulder and hip pain, but can treat many conditions, e.g.  tension headaches, plantar fasciitis and less common ailments like tinnitus.

If you are looking to release stress/ improve sleep/ gain a general state of well-being, I can help your body-mind go into a state of deep relaxation, to restore your equilibrium. My aim is to take you to a state of ‘floaty bliss’ (as it has been described) that leaves you uplifted and calm for sometime afterwards.

As well as improving blood-flow to the soft tissues to help unwind muscular adhesions (‘knots’) and stuck fascia, lymph movement is increased, which supports our immune systems. Serotonin and oxytocin release are very pleasant additional benefits of massage, ‘happy hormones’ which boost our mental well-being.

ADHD – I have found Reflexology to be an effective treatment for people who have ADHD, and can work with children, accompanied by their supportive adult.

Feel free to give me a call to discuss your needs and ask any questions prior to booking.

I look forward to supporting you.
