I offer both long-term and short-term counselling with clients who bring a wide range of challenges such as anxiety, grief, depression, low-self-esteem, sexuality and Neurodiversity. I am also trauma informed.

I endeavour to create a calm, dependable and genuine environment where you can explore and address what is going on for you.

I am a creative, musical and active person, and I love spending time outdoors. I seek to integrate these elements into my counselling practice where ever I can.

Rather than concentrating on individual problems or symptoms, I focus on everything that makes you who you are and the way you relate to the world around you. I work in a way which is led by you, working what you want to explore. I remain in dialogue with you throughout the process, offering my thoughts and reflections.

An Integrative way of working holds in mind that there is not a one size fits all approach to counselling. I am trained in several different therapy models, meaning I can draw upon these depending on your needs and wishes.

I work in a Neuro-affirming way and have chosen to particularly focus on this area within my practice. Neurodiverse affirming therapy supports and accepts differences, rather than trying to ‘fix you’. It aims to help you feel empowered by building on your strengths and skills.

Counselling can be a place to celebrate your uniqueness in a way that perhaps it hasn’t been elsewhere in your life which can promote self-esteem and acceptance. It can also provide somewhere to explore, discover and practice ways to manage challenges you may face in your day-to-day life. 

I also offer sessions outdoors in nature, or in your own home.
