Claire offers therapeutic support for adults, adolescents, families and children of all ages.

About me

Hi, I’m Claire and here to help others. We can all feel overwhelmed and find life too much at times. I have been in a very dark place in my life myself and it can feel very isolating. I found it difficult to share with others in my family or with friends for fear of judgements, opinions or causing distress to others. I found counselling a huge support for me and felt it offered me an outlet for everything and learnt so much about myself in the process. This inspired me to offer this to others and include various ways to do this as we are all individual with our own interests needs and processes.

I have been working as a counsellor of all ages now for the past 7 years. I have undertaken various intense training courses to build my knowledge and explore new ways to offer warmth with others, including recent work in therapy involve animals too.

If you would like to have a chat or have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me.

What I offer

To help, I’d like to offer you some further information about my way of working.

I use different approaches to counselling enabling me to be responsive to each individual, adjusting my therapeutic approach accordingly. I am aware we are all different and all process and explore in our own ways, and offer a safe space to simply talk, or add elements of CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy), play therapy, art and creative therapy, sand tray therapy, music, and all within a person-centred model. This allows you to use the space in a way you are comfortable too.

I also offer a safe space for families who are feeling there is difficulties in the family and further explore together within a systemic way of working to gain understanding with each other and help promote better communication and positive attachments.
